Enmax 32 Riverbank Stabilization

Ironclad acted as Prime Contractor on the Enmax Substation #32 Flood Mitigation project for Enmax Power. Immediately following the 2013 Alberta Floods, Ironclad was approached by Enmax to provide emergency riverbank stabilization at the Douglasdale substation.

    3 Excavators, 2 Loaders, 1 Dozer, 14 Highway Trucks.
  • Challenges:
    The project faced challenges with heavy rock riprap shortages and budget constraints. Ironclad addressed this by securing riprap from two suppliers to meet demand and using river cobble to reduce costs and streamline flood cleanup, effectively combining two projects.
